Chuck Mark with the Forest Service discusses the extension of free use collection of firewood for the rest of the 2020 calendar year. There will be a free use permit required so the quantity of firewood collected can be tracked. Forest Service lobbies will begin to open, though it is preferred that anything that can be done virtually will be done as so.
Diane Earl with the Hospice of Salmon Valley tells listeners that Hospice of Salmon Valley will not be having their annual breakfast this year. However, the breakfast will be back in 2021.
The Hospice ice cream wagon will be open from Wednesday, July 1st through Sunday, July 5th. It will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. except for on Friday when they will open after the parade. The ice cream wagon will be located behind the U.S. Bank. Additionally, there will be a one-day whitewater trip raffle hosted by Hospice of Salmon Valley.
